Welcome to Haven Harvesting
Haven Harvesting is a family business started in the late 1960s when Jeremy's father, Dennis, made his first trip south with a single combine. Jeremy grew up combining with his dad & is the happiest in a wheat field on a hot day in western Kansas. The Haven Harvesting run starts in western Kansas, covers eastern Colorado, then moves back home to South Dakota. Jeremy runs nine John Deere combines, along with three tractors with grain carts and nine trucks.
The crew consists of 15-20 employees during harvest season. Jeremy holds 10 H2A visas and has veteran H2A employees. With seven growing kids, they have quite the crew! Daughters Ella, Ashley, and Lilly have been running combines on the harvest run since they were in elementary school. Ella actively helps with combining, precision ag, maintenance and trucking throughout the year. In addition to combining, Ashley, Ty and Lilly provide support through maintenance and logistics. Joclyn, an advertising major at SDSU, is the resident photographer. Kinze and Faith are on deck as future combine operators.
Being both custom harvesters and farmers, Jeremy and Lindsey understand the urgency of getting the crop out of the field and the importance of data management. They are proud to say they've been harvesting for the majority of their customers for decades.
